 Cutis Tablets Containing Terbinafine Hydrochloride

 Composition:

Each tablet contains Terbinafine (as HCI)  250mg USP Specs

 Indications:

 Tinea capitis  Onychomycosis (fungal nail infection) caused by dermatophyte fungi

 Fungal skin infections, including tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, and yeast infections caused by Candida (e.g., Candida albicans) when oral therapy is considered appropriate due to the site, severity, or extent of the infection

Administration:

 Adults: 250mg once daily

 Duration of Treatment:

•  Treatment duration varies based on the type and severity of the infection

  liver or kidney impairment should be considered

•  Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, severe lactose deficiency, or glucosegalactose malabsorption should not take Cutis tablets
•  Use with caution in patients taking drugs metabolized by CYP2D6

•  Rare side effects may include hepatobiliary dysfunction, taste disturbances, neutropenia, agranulocytosis, and thrombocytopenia
•  Very rare side effects include serious skin reactions, anaphylactoid reactions, and blood
  disorders
